The upcoming first-person shooter game "Battlefield 1" will be showcased at this year's Gamescom with a new trailer, ahead of its October release.

According to GamingBolt, DICE's Senior Video & Media Director Randy Evans tweeted recently that he is working on a new trailer for "Battlefield 1," which will be debuted at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany this month.

Fans of the game will be excited to see more "Battlefield 1" footage ahead of its release, as the game received a very positive response from the community when it was first announced.

The "Battlefield 1" reveal trailer stands as one of the most liked trailer on Youtube, according to Gamespot. The video now has almost 2 million likes, which strongly evidences the hype surrounding the highly anticipated World War I era shooter.

Gamescom will be happening on August 17 - 21, so it will only be more than two weeks before fans get a glimpse of the new "Battlefield 1" trailer.

In other "Battlefield 1" news, a Redditor recently discovered clues that lead to a possible Premium Service for the game.

A "Battlefield 1" Premium placeholder logo plus other pieces of artwork were spotted by Redditor H4wkAvenger by digging through the game's closed alpha files.

EA has yet to announce Premium Services for the new "Battlefield" title, but this revelation comes as no surprise to long-standing fans of the franchise.

"Battlefield Hardline," "Battlefield 4" and "Battlefield 3" have all offered Premium Services, according to SegmentNext. The question here, however, is if the Premium Service is worth its price tag.

The Premium Service for "Battlefield 4"is currently priced at $39.99, and the price for "Battlefield 1" Premium Service is predicted to be around the same price range.

"Battlefield 1" will be released on October 21 on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4. A beta for the game is scheduled to be released sometime after Gamescom.
