Prior to its highly anticipated release, Bandai Namco just unleashed a heart-pounding "Dragon Ball Fusions" trailer. The newly released trailer gave fans a first look at how the game is played and how the titular fusions work.

The trailer started with the introduction of the game's main characters - Tekka and his best friend, Pinich. The two were then transported in the Fusion World, similar to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse's" hub network, where all the Dragon Ball universes and timelines merge.

According to Siliconera, the upcoming game features a fusion gameplay setting. It allows players to fuse and radiate any character from any time in the "Dragon Ball" series. Some examples shown in the trailer are a notable fusion amongst Goku and Broly, young Goku and Krillin and Piccolo and Krillin.

FUSION DANCE TECHNIQUES

1.    Goten + Trunks = Gotenks

2.    Goku + Vegeta = Gogeta

3.    Piccolo + Krillin = Prillin

4.    Tien Shinhan + Yamcha = Tiencha

5.    Future Gohan + Future Trunks = Future Gohanks

6.    Raditz + Nappa = Natz

Nonetheless, it is important to take note that these fusions are only possible with the use of the Metamo-Ring, a mysterious wristband developed by Capsule Corporation.

What's more, the order of "Timeline" attack is also being followed in the game, wherein the character on the right most of the timeline will be the first to assault the enemies. It is said that players will encounter a wide range of foes in the Fusion World.

According to Dragon Ball Wiki, there are no less than 334 characters in "Dragon Ball Fusions." Hence, it is the biggest character roster in any Dragon Ball game to date.

"Dragon Ball Fusions" is scheduled for released on Aug. 04 in Japan for Nintendo 3DS. No news about its worldwide release has been confirmed yet. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
