"Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World" can already be counted as a success for Nintendo. Though there have been rumblings about potentially abandoning the 3DS in favor of the Nintendo Switch hybrid, the success of "Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World" may just prove that there is still a market for the handheld console.

Weeks after the Feb. 3 NA "Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World" release date for the Nintendo 3DS, the video game company continues to pump out promos for the game. Just recently, the "Let's Get Adventuring!" short film of the hit platform game has been released.

Those who are able to play the original "Yoshi's Woolly World" on the Nintendo Wii U will be able to point out how similar yet to different the 3DS game is. "Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World" includes all the 48 stages of the original Wii U version.

The name of the game was changed to "Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World" as a reference to the added special Poochy levels of the game. Aside from the Poochy levels, the original game's mellow mode was also updated on the Nintendo 3DS version of the game.

According to GameSpot, "Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World" Nintendo 3DS is the superior of the two versions. The "Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World" review even stated that the game feels right at home on a handheld.

The continued success of "Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World" Nintendo 3DS game may just make the video game company reconsider its plan of only intending to support the 3DS up until 2018. Though Nintendo's executives have already said that the video game company will still support the handheld video game device, a statement from the company revealed that the intended support was up until 2018 only.

Not only does playing "Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World" Nintendo 3DS game offer an excellent escape from the busy reality, the hilarious stop-motion shorts featuring Poochy and Yoshi also gives players a break from stress. The game is sold at Nintendo store with a $39.99 price tag.
