The Nintendo Switch version of the hit "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Nintendo 3DS game is said to be launched this year. The game will reportedly be released as "Pokemon Stars." A number of speculations about the not yet confirmed Nintendo Switch game surfaced after the alleged GameStop accidental leak of the game.

Just a few weeks back, GameStop has accidentally leaked a major information about the Nintendo Switch that even the video game company is supposedly hiding. The Nintendo Switch landing page on GameStop's website hinted a Pokemon game for the new Nintendo hybrid game console.

"Switch owners will have the ability to play a Pokemon," the Nintendo Switch GameStop listing revealed," game they'd normally on a mobile device." This phrase from the already deleted Nintendo Switch listing may have just confirmed that a Pokemon game will be released for the Nintendo Switch.

The Nintendo Switch Pokemon game will reportedly be called "Pokemon Stars" and will be a Switch version of the existing "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Nintendo 3DS game. Forbes reported back in January that the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Nintendo Switch version may not be a new game and an older game from the series may just be playable via the Nintendo virtual console.

According to Mic, "Pokemon Stars" Nintendo Switch will bring new contents to the hit video game series. A beefed up graphics is also to be expected given the 720p display that the new hybrid console features.

According to the report, a weird new cinematic cutscene from "Pokemon Sun and Moon" may have just hinted the upcoming Pokemon Switch game. The new cutscene made mention of star pulses that has not been mentioned in the game before.

No concrete confirmation about the "Pokemon Stars" Nintendo Switch game has been given by Nintendo. However, fans of the game series may not have to wait much longer.

With the impending March 3 Nintendo Switch release date, the video game company may use the upcoming E3 to announce more games for the hybrid game console. The new games for Switch may include "Pokemon Stars."
