'Pokemon Sun And Moon' Guide: How To Trade Pokemon, Link, GTS & Wonder Trade [Video Tutorial]

Festival Plaza can be used to trade Pokemons in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." Players can choose to trade their Pokemons through any of the three currently available options, namely, Wonder Trade, Link Trade or GTS.

POKEMON SUN AND MOON LINK TRADE

Link trade is the simplest way to trade pocket monsters in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." With Link Trade, players of the Nintendo 3DS game deal directly with each other.

With this trade option, a player can trade Pokemons with those that are on their Nintendo Friendlist or VIP List that are online. A Link Trade can also be done with the first 50 random players that are listed as guests.

To trade with a particular person, a player must key in the specific player's Nintendo Friend Code. A trade with the specific player can be done if the other party is also online.

POKEMON SUN AND MOON TRADE WITH GTS

GTS or Global Trade System is just like Link Trade but without the option to trade with a particular person. In GTS, players key in the details of the Pokemon that they are looking for in the Seek Pokemon option.

Players can also offer their own pocket monsters with this trade option. To do this, players must click the Deposit Menu found in the GTS menu.

POKEMON SUN AND MOON WONDER TRADE

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" Wonder Trade is like displaying a Pokemon in the marketplace and waiting for a proper barter. With the Wonder Trade option, players must put up their pocket monsters for trade on the Wonder Trade menu. Other players will be seeing the Pokemon offered for trade and can put up their own Pokemon to propose a trade.

The three "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trade options can be accessed on the Festival Plaza. The Festival Plaza is located at the bottom of the Nintendo 3DS screen.
