With these updates, new maps, character variants, game modes and Community Challenges that give out enormous rewards have been added.

Amid these new updates for the "Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2," gamers are set to be treated to yet another exciting promo.

The tech site revealed that the half-the-price promo for the game title will be availed of once purchased on OriginTM for PC, while a ten-hour free trial can also be enjoyed starting on Aug. 16.

Gamasutra noted that fun is expected to be experienced with the game since "Over 110 playable characters with outrageous powers and abilities, 14 all-new maps bursting with personality and humour, and eight crazy game modes make 'Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2' the biggest, baddest, craziest battle in the universe."

In the meantime, PC Gamer disclosed that the promo for the game, which is playable both on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, will end by Aug. 30.

It was explained, though, that "the 10-hour timer won't start ticking down until you begin playing."
