iPhone 7 vs iPhone 6: Ways That Apple Can Beat Android With The Upgrade
C. de LacyIn less than 24 hours from the time of writing, Apple will be launching its event and consumers worldwide may finally get to see the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus reveal. Still, will this new smartphone give people enough reason to upgrade and even make Android a run for its money?
Even with the hype, Samsung isn't letting the competition just go down too smooth for Apple and the company is putting up a challenge with their own line of flagship smartphones like Galaxy Note 7. It would be just a matter of time before other Android smartphone manufacturers follow suit.
Here are some of the things that people need to see with iPhone 7 that was not present with iPhone 6:
Real Waterproofing
We've seen a couple of waterproof tests for iPhones. Some even tested the non-waterproof iPhone 6 by submerging it under water as shown in the video below:
While it didn't die out right away, it does show that the iPhone isn't something people can just douse accidentally or intentionally. Something that Sony, Samsung and even a lot of no-name brands already has.
Better Camera
It is not to say that iPhone's camera is sub-par. In fact, even with iPhone 5 and iPhone 6, the camera already produces more than decent quality photos, but as time goes by, Android smartphone manufacturers are integrating manual controls and even better sensors.
iPhone 7 could still use an extra oomph with its optics.
Battery Performance
iPhones aren't known with their huge-capacity batteries, but iPhone 7 will greatly benefit with a better battery. Running the rumored specs may require more power than ever and increased battery performance is paramount.
Storage Options
If rumors are true about iPhone 7 getting storage capacities up to 256 GB then it will be a great news for something way overdue for some time now. If this wouldn't be the case, Apple should at least provide storage options for users like additional memory card slots.
It's not exactly important which format the company chooses. As long as consumers will be able to house all those videos, games, apps and let alone, the operating system itself and its huge updates.
Hopefully, we get to see most of these improvements with the upcoming announcement of the iPhone 7, or at least most them.
