Speculations about when would the hacking teams are able to come up with the jailbreaking tool for the new iOS 10 surfaces online as Apple is set to release its latest operating system on September 13.
The iOS 10, which is first announced at WWDC 2016, is created to bring a number of new features to iPhone. It is said to be the biggest update with changes to Siri, the lock screen, photos and a lot more, as reported by the Macworld.
As of the moment, iOS 9.3.5 is the latest version available for public but the renowned jailbreaking team Pangu has not yet given any stable jailbreaking solution to it. However, the said team was quite successful with jailbreaking 9.3.4 just a few weeks ago.
According to Yahoo Tech, jailbreaking, for some is an important part of the iOS experience but for others, it's unfamiliar and risky.
However, with Pangu, jailbreaking becomes easy whether you are a veteran of jailbreaking or not.
To 'jailbreak' your iPhone means to free it from the restrictions enforced by Apple. It's letting the device install applications from outside Apple's iTunes App Store and fiddle with previously restricted features of an iOS device, the source said.
The Yahoo Tech added that when jailbreaking a device, it's always best to backup previous data so that your music, apps, movies and everything are well stored on your computer just in case things don't go smoothly. iTunes should quickly backup your device every time you plug in so once you complete the jailbreak process, you can course a restore and get everything back. Also, you have to be sure that you have plugged into iTunes recently and synced your device. Running a sync will backup your device by default.
Chinese hacking team Pangu is reportedly working hard to make the iOS 10 jailbreak by October or a month following the expected iOS 10 rollout.
