iOS 10 Jailbreak News And Update: Jailbreaking Tool Coming Earlier Than Expected?
C. de LacyPeople were rather disappointed with how Pangu's hard work on the jailbreaking tool for iOS 9.3.3 was short lived. This didn't stop some crafty people from pursuing the goal of jailbreaking the latest iOS 10 system and it could actually arrive earlier this time around.
Apple already made the move and released the latest iOS firmware for iDevices a few days ago. This introduced a slew of new features and graphical improvement that could be worth upgrading to that it pains some consumers who still have their devices jailbroken.
As with one of our previous covers, an Italian hacker named Luca Todesco teased people of being able to jailbreak iOS 10. The video above shows the brilliant guy successfully jailbreaking the new version of iOS 10.
The jailbreak is called "Yalux" and the second video demonstrates that the tool successfully cracks iOS 10 by showcasing a running MobileSubstrate support.
According to Todesco, the first demonstration video was "crappy" that the hacker decided to take another shot on a public release of iOS 10.
Unfortunately, however, there's no real assurance that the hacker will actually release the jailbreaking tool as he's always been known to not release of his work. The good thing is, Both Pangu and iH8Sn0w is already working on a tool for iOS 10 just as well.
Pangu and iH8Sn0W were also successful in jailbreaking the beta 8 version of iOS 10 as demonstrated at the MOSEC Security Conference (via iClarified), which indicates a big progress for the jailbreak community.
Rumors say that the iOS 10 Jailbreak from Pangu alone will be out early this October, but such theories may still be plausible given that Apple may still roll out some changes with the current iOS 10 that consumers are enjoying and getting stuck with right now.
For those who don't want to wait for an official jailbreak for the iOS and can overlook the added features for the new iOS version, they can still jailbreak their devices with these simple to follow steps.
