'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2': What Fans Need To Know About The Beta To Be Released This October

Bandai Namco have finally announced (via PlayStation Lifestyle) the beta stage releases for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" and fans will finally be able to play some bite-sized experience from the second game in the franchise. There will be two periods of beta versions as Bandai Namco have scheduled a closed and open beta period.
The Closed Beta period for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" starts on October 8 at exactly 1 am PT/4am ET / 10am CEST. It will only be up until the 10th of October at the same time.
The Open Beta period starts on October 14 at at exactly 1 am PT/4am ET / 10am CEST and will be ending on October 17 at the same time as well.
For PlayStation 4 owners who would like to secure the closed beta version, pre-ordering "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" through the PlayStation Store will secure the downloads. Bandai Namco will be distributing download codes in a number of methods like email.
The open beta will be available for public download starting October 13 and details may be posted on Bandai Namco's official "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" site or through email to subscribed members.
Apparently, the beta stages are only available and announced for the PlayStation 4 exclusively.
As per Bandai Namco's announcement, players will be able to take part in the tournaments to compete for the best Time Patroller. Those who will join in the beta stages of the tournament will be given a small gift upon the game's official release.
There aren't any particulars regarding a beta release of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" for other platforms like the Xbox One and the PC, but changes may still be rolled out so be sure to be on the look out.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will officially be launched on October 25 for North America and October 28 for the rest of the world for all platforms.
