iOS 10 Jailbreak Becoming Less Likely To Happen; Here Are Alternative Solutions
C. de LacyWith Apple becoming too active in updating its mobile operating system, hackers are standing of a less chances in successfully cracking the iOS, especially version 10 onwards. Is 9.3.3 the last jailbreak to be released to the public?
iOS 10.0.2 was released, and again, hackers like Pangu and TaiG were once again pushed in the corner. The update, however, addresses all known security issues. One of the main issue that the recent update was the iPhone 7's call audio.
With the repeated occurrences of quick fixes from Apple, the chances of iOS 10 happening is getting slimmer. Neurogadget reported that the Pangu jailbreak have always been doing a good job at cracking Apple's operating systems, which is true. Sometimes, even on the day of the release.
After the long struggle to get out 9.3, the hacking team suddenly went silent. Rumor has it that Pangu was already working on one, but it could be very likely that the progress have already been halted and it's no thanks to the frequent update roll outs.
It is speculated that Pangu is already working on the iOS 10 jailbreak tool, but unfortunately, due to Cydia errors, the team have to start back from square one.
With the current trend of how Apple is working with developers in thwarting any attempt to jailbreak the device, the future iOS 10 jailbreak seems bleak especially with the talk of 10.1 almost arriving. This will strengthen the security of the operating system, making it harder to crack.
For those who have already abandoned the hope of a jailbreak tool, there are still some alternatives that will let users get at least some similar Cydia apps and tweaks through Mojo. Otherwise, people will have to wait and possibly, even longer than what they had to for the iOS 9.3.3 Jailbreak tool.
Stay tuned for more news and updates on the iOS Jailbreaking scene.
