Reveal Map

Revealing the map in "Civilization VI" can be a time-consuming task, especially if you don't want to waste resources and time on additional Scouts. You would also want to know where the other civs are as soon as possible. Fortunately, this debug console allows you to reveal everything on the map at once. Here's how to do it.

WARNING: You would need to alter the config.ini file to activate the debug console, which is a bit risky, so follow the instructions carefully.

To activate the Debug Console in-game:

Find the "Sid Meier's Civilization 6" install folder. It's either in your Steam Apps folder, or in

Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 6/config.ini

Open the file "Config.ini" on Notepad and look for the line that reads "DebugPanel = o". Change the value to 1. Save and close.

To open the Debug Console in game:

Press ['] tilde in-game to open the Debug Window and select "Reveal All". Voila! The whole map is now revealed, so you can now focus on building your empire.

Note that this only applies to offline games, and thus will not be available for online multiplayer matches.
