Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 To Debut On MWC 2017? New Device Expected To Feature Two Variants, Android 7.0 Nougat, AMOLED Technology
Kirsten KaneThe Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 was previously rumored to be released in September 2016. However, it failed to make an appearance in one of the company's annual event. Now, the new device is said to come out in the first quarter of next year.
Though the South Korean tech giant remained mum about the upcoming tablet, rumors and speculations about it continue to swirl on the web.
There were also reports suggesting that the Samsung device which is expected to come out in two variants, SM-T820 and SM-T825 will be launched on the MWC 2017.
It was said that the launching was moved to give Samsung an enough time to make their new device an impressive one after the downfall of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
However, as reported by Techradar, the most awaited device looks similar to its predecessor wherein the home button is at the bottom of the front screen. The tablet will have a 4.3 display ratio and its back might be made of plastic.
In terms of the device's features and specifications, it is said to sport an 8-inch display for the smaller model and 9.7 inch screen for the large one with a better resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The device may be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. A microSD card slot for expanded memory is also projected.
Moreover, the highly anticipated device may run an Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, but if the Galaxy Tab S3 already had its Federal Communications Commission certification for trade in the U.S back in March, then it might possibly installed the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
It was said that the smaller variant will pack a 4,000mAH battery while the larger one will have a 5,870mAh battery. With these kinds of batteries, users will surely enjoy the device's features.
Talking about its camera, the device is reported to consist a 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera that will provide hi-definition images. In addition, the Galaxy Tab S3 may use an AMOLED technology.
For now, the price of the anticipated device is not known yet but is expected to be a little higher compared to the first appearance of Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 in the market.
Samsung is yet to give details and clear updates regarding the Galaxy Tab S3.
