The winter finale of The Big Bang Theory is indeed going out with a big bang! Spoilers for The Big Bang Theory Season 10 indicate Howard and Bernadette's child's name, why there won't be any scene of Bernadette giving birth, and Sheldon and Amy's coitus anniversary plans.

Sheldon and Amy's first-time coitus second anniversary will get them busy; however, they are not the only ones. Their yearly coitus agreement coincides with Bernadette and Howard officially becoming new parents as they welcome their baby into the world. There is only one particular thing that won't be shown: the birth itself. According to showrunner Steve Molaro, a lot of shows have been doing those scenes already; hence, the episode will instead be focusing on the events before Bernadette goes into labor. In addition, the birth may have an indirect effect on another big plot that will be part of the mid-season finale, according to CINEMA BLEND.

On the other hand, Howard and Bernadette's baby name will also be unveiled in the episode after the winter break. The name given to the couple's baby girl is Hallie. As they become new parents, reports stated that it might interrupt Sheldon and Amy's coitus plans --- which was supposed to be magical, a likely tie-in to the Harry Potter franchise. Naturally, taking care of baby Hallie will also involve Sheldon and the others. It must really signify that Amy and Sheldon might have to put their annual bedroom activities on hold for a while.

Meanwhile, now that Howard is a father, Hallie's birth might pave the way for him to communicate with his own father, Sam. This might be a good chance for these two men to reestablish their relationship. As what Molaro stated, Howard's father is just around the corner and will be appearing more often than not because of his granddaughter's birth. But for now, Leonard's father, Alfred, will be the first one to appear on the show, Citizen Oracle reported.

Watch out for Bernadette, Howard, and Baby Hallie; Sheldon and Amy; and the rest of the gang when the CBS hit show returns in January 2017.
