"Dragon Ball Super" set the world ablaze last year, after the said franchise series finally returned on TV. Come February 5th, a new arc of the show, "Universal Survival", the fifth saga, is set to be released on Fuji TV. In the said saga, Son Goku will survive the wrath of assassin Hit and the start of his journey with the Universe 7 team ensues. 

According to Shueisha V Jump Magazine, the premiere date for "Universal Survival" is February 5. Many fans are excited, especially when as the magazine will feature characters such as Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Krilin, Master Roshi, Majinn Buu and Androids 17 & 18 for their February 2017 issue. While some members of the cast were not present, Piccolo is joining the eclectic cast as reported by Anime News Network. However, fans would like to see Yamcha, Goten and Trunks as members of the team. 

"Dragon Ball Super" has also partnered with various streaming websites such as Funimation, Crunchyroll, AnimeLab and Daisuki to simulcast the series. Fans will still be able to watch the latest episodes of the epic series with English subtitles upon release in Japan. Aside from that, English dub of the previous episodes is in the works and will be available on Toonami come January 7th.

The premier of the "Dragon Ball Super" have a total of 26 episodes covering its first two arcs: "Batlle of Gods" and "Ressurection F." The latest saga entitled "Future Trunks" spans from episodes 47 to 76 focuses on the future version of Trunks who is tasked to fight Goku Black and Future Zamasu against their evil plans of destroying the cosmos.

Fans will be amazed as to how the intergalactic hero Goku survives the skillful Hit. It can be recalled that "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 71 of the latest arc of the series suggests the death of Goku in the hands of the assassin.

According to reports from Comic Book, a universal rule prevented Hit from finishing Goku. You surely need to catch "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 72 to find out more about the interesting resurgence of the hero! Aside from that, will he find a new power to fend off danger and attempts to end his life?
