Xbox One Backwards Compatibility: Microsoft's X-Mas Give Aways And December FREE Game
LorraineThe celebration contunues for Xbox One Backwards Compatibility's first anniversary, Microsoft is offering an amazing deal this Christmas. Xbox One users have a lot to look forward to this festive holiday season as Microsoft makes an Xbox classic free until the end of December only.
To make the first anniversary of Xbox One Backwards Compatibility more special, Microsoft makes the classic Xbox 360 RPG Lost Odyssey a free download until December 31st. Can MIcrosoft get any more generous?
This is already on top of Games with Gold freebies which includes Burnout Paradise and Sleeping Dogs. But the Square Enix classic won't be free for long and is returning to it's full price by the end of the month.
Lost Odyssey was only previously available on disc. Xbox fans had to obtain a physical copy which was unfortunately, easier said than done. Microsoft has already added the game to the backwards compatability program, alongside fellow game Blue Dragon, although the latter is not available as a free download.
With this, Microsoft has recently released a statement: "With the release of three more Xbox One Backwards Compatibility games yesterday, the list of Backward Compatibility titles is now over 300, and data shows many of you are routinely using this feature to play Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One."
Microsoft assured Xbox fans that the Xbox One Team was pushing hard to bolster the capabilities and make certain that more games are being added to the storefront. We can't wait to find out what's in store for the future.
"While the team behind this feature continues to increase the library of available titles, they're also expanding the capabilities", Microsoft went on to say. This would definitely prove a busy month as they seek to accomplish this.
Express UK has also confirmed that this amazing deal is available in the UK. You can check this link to download the game here. Although the epic RPG is Microsoft's way of saying thank you to the Xbox fans, the free digital copy of Lost Odyssey must be redeemed by December 31, 2016 and may not be available in all regions.
Well, what are you waiting for geeks? Hurry and avail of this amazing deal from Microsoft!
