Minecraft 1.10 is already released for the popular game for Xbox, Playstation and Nintendo gaming systems. The game's developer, Mojang, launched the new version to delight all gamers with a huge update including a pair of downloadable content packs.

The "Holiday Update," known as Minecraft 1.10, features new potions, flying and a lot more. The block-building game is now available in all gaming systems for free and available for download. Along with its publisher, Microsoft, Mojang will be producing a couple of downloadable bundles and skin packs for gamers who love "Fallout."

Minecraft Holiday Update is expected to attract new players and keep the fans of the game interested. The sandbox video game was launched in 2009 as an unfinished demo. Since then, free updates were provided to the players so they can monitor the improvements on the platform of their preference. As reported by Venture Beat, Skin packs allow players to use their money in funding the game developments in the future. For the benefit of those who are excited about this Minecraft 1.10 Holiday Update, here are some of the improvements players can expect.

Aside from flying that would be available for all console editions, a new item called Elytra will be available. Elytra will make it possible to fly. The Elytra item can be discovered at "The End" part of the game. The said part was also updated by the developers with "End Cities" and "End Ships."

Another significant update is the ability of players to craft new potions using Dragon's Breath, which is similar to the lingering potions. New status effects, levitation and luck, was also released in this Minecraft holiday update. When starting a new world for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the variance between mountains and valleys can be observed through "Amplified Terrain" option.

But wait, there's more! For gamers who would like to unlock the "Fallout Mash-up" pack, it only costs $6 to do so. The said DLC comprises 44 skins which can result to irradiated characters of Bethesda's Fall-out games. A Pip-Boy inspired UI is also available for players to use.
