"Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" has brought a lot of innovation for the iconic franchise. One of these is the ability to explore the open world. This means more lovely sceneries. Indeed, Nintendo has risen up to that expectation and, this time, a leaked screenshot boasts a snowy vista.

Based on reports, the leaked image was that of a campsite. Link, the main protagonist, has a burning campfire. Sure enough, the background was that of a snowy area, with pine trees topped with snow. It was a lovely scene that is quite perfect for the holidays.

According to speculations, this is just one of the upgrades that Nintendo is trying out for the holidays. Apparently, there would be more changes to "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" that would be linked to the season.

Since the main innovation of "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" was exploring Hyrule, there apparently will be more sceneries that will come. The snowy vista is said to be just one of the two environmental upgrades Nintendo is rolling out. The other one is unknown as of this writing.

My Nintendo News reports that the leaked photo was first uploaded on Facebook. It seems like there have been photos of "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" that are being uploaded week after week. Some concept art for the game were even released.

Until now, there aren't any exact dates as to when the new "Zelda" game will be released. The only thing fans know is that it would be out for both Wii U and the new Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch will arrive on the market in early 2017, with no exact date so far. Fans are expecting that the "Legend of Zelda" game's release date will coincide with that of Nintendo Switch.
