The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be a game-changer for Samsung though a lot more is being said about the Galaxy S8 flagship. In fact, some are saying that there may not be a Galaxy Note 8 and the South Korean tech giant is bringing all the best of features in its S8 handset, especially S8, Plus that has supposedly entered the "Note" series screen size segment.

However, a highly-anticipated feature in both the Galaxy Note 8 and S8 is bendable/foldable screens. According to Tech Times, Samsung is ready to take more chances with its flagship smartphone designs. Hence, it could be seriously looking to incorporate foldable screens in its flagships. Samsung has already patented foldable/bendable screens and a 2017 release of this feature is definitely too far-fetched.

As a part of its two-track strategy, Samsung is developing two types of foldable smartphones. One is a dual-screen smartphone that uses a flat display on each side and the other, a foldable smartphone that bends a single flexible OLED display. Apart from this feature, hardcore fans are expecting many other awesome specs and features in the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 handset. As per Yahoo! News, fans are expecting an upgraded S-Pen stylus.

The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office has published Samsung's patent application that indicates a speaker within the S-Pen. The Galaxy Note 8 could come with 128GB internal storage, expandable via microSD card and 6GB RAM. Another expected feature is the AI Voice Assistant that can evolve as per a user's requirements and usage. Of course, consumers are a bit reluctant about using Samsung batteries again after the Galaxy Note 7 disaster.

Samsung is thankful that 2016 is nearly over. Like the tech biggies, Samsung too will be looking to spring back into competition with its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 handsets in 2017.
