Sony Will Be Prioritizing Game Production In 2017' Owners Of The PS4 Can Get Four Free Games By January 3
Ceage SottoShuhei Yoshida has stressed the importance of 2017 for Sony's PS4 Pro and PlayStation VR. The president of PlayStation Worldwide Studios has mentioned Sony's plans in his recent interview.
According to Express, Sony will focus on competing with other consoles by releasing big titles next year. We've already heard of several big projects coming to the PS4 Pro in 2017. It includes new titles from previous games like "God of War" and "The Last of Us 2."
Although developers of both game titles have not yet revealed their possible release date for the games, several developers have already queued for 2017. "Horizon Dawn" is coming to the shelves in February. March 2017 will also feature two game titles, "Nier: Automata" and "Star Trek: Bridge Crew" will be available for that month.
In hopes of reviving old classic games featured by Sony's PS1, "Crash Bandicoot" will also have a remastered version by next year. Details of its release date are still pending. According to the game's developers, they are still in the early stages of the project.
Sony will also be prioritizing in console exclusives to battle with Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio. Microsoft's new console will allegedly be available in 2017.
In other news, Sony will be releasing four free games early in 2017. In a post on the Playstation Blog, "Day of the Tentacle Remastered," "This War of Mine: The Little Ones," "Titan Souls" and "The Swindle" will be free for PS4 owners.
Gamers can pick up the games when the PlayStation Store refreshes for the first time on Tuesday, January 3. Owners of the PS3 and Playstation Vita will also be given free games. "Blazerush," and "The Swindle" will be available for the PS3 while "Azkend 2," "Day of the Tentacle Remastered," "Titan Souls," and "The Swindle" will be available for the Vita.
