HTC One X and Evo 4G LTE owners were facing problems when trying to use Google Wallet. "Google Wallet has not yet been certified in your country or on your device/carrier" is the message displayed when they tried to use the app. After receiving a lot of complaints, Google has finally confirmed the "software problem". The company said a software patch can easily fix the situation but it didn't reveal any specific date for releasing the update.
Google Wallet has been facing a lot of trouble lately, including root issues and security flaws. Moreover, its competitor ISIS and Touch Wallet are also getting nipping at its heels. However, Sprint is not sabotaging Google Wallet with the validation problem to promote its own Touch Wallet.
Currently, Google is working with HTC and Sprint to solve this problem.
