Samsung Galaxy A-Series Smartphones A5, A7 And A3 Specs Leaked Before Launch
Hemal VoraSamsung is going to kick off the 2017 New Year with a grand event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on January 5. The company is planning to unwrap the new Galaxy A series smartphones at the event. A pre-order poster was spotted recently revealing the launch of the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 smartphones for 2017.
The poster revealed the prices of the smartphones in Malaysian Ringgit. According to the poster, the price of Galaxy A5 comes close to USD 380, and Galaxy A7 will be available for around USD 420. Samsung has recently made an announcement that customers can place their pre-orders for these smartphones after the launch from January 6, 2017. The company's official Dutch website carries a poster that confirms the upcoming launch of the new Galaxy A3 (2017) smartphone. Reports suggest that Samsung Malaysia Mr. Lee Jui Siang has stated that the Galaxy A series smartphones will be water and dust resistant as they have been awarded the IP68-certificate, as reported by BGR.
The following are the supposed specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy A5 specifications
Galaxy A5 will be powered by the latest octa-core Samsung's Exynos 7880 Chipset (four Cortex A72 cores + four Cortex A53 cores) at a speed of 1.87GHz. The smartphone will be equipped with a 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It may also sport expandable storage facility through a microSD card. A primary camera of 13-megapixel with LED flash will be available. It will be running on a 3,300mAh battery with fast charge support. The phone will have two variants of a single sim and a dual sim, as reported by The Indian Express.
Samsung Galaxy A7 specifications
Galaxy A7 will sport a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED full-HD display and will be powered by the latest Exynos 7880 chipset. The phone will come with a 3GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage which can be expanded externally. It will sport a 16MP camera with features like f/1.9 aperture, autofocus, face detection and touch focus. The phone will carry a 3,500mAh battery with Type C USB charger.
Samsung Galaxy A3 specifications
Galaxy A3 will be smaller in size sporting a 4.7-inch HD (720p) display. It will be powered by an octa-core processor offering 1.5GHz process speed. The smartphone will come with a 2GB of RAM and 8GB of Internal storage. It will be equipped with a 12 MP primary camera and 7 MP secondary camera.
All the aforementioned smartphones will come with added features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS-enabled, 4G LTE with VoLTE support and even NFC. The phones are expected to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow Out of the box.
