'God of War 4', 'Last Of Us 2 Won't Release For PS4 In 2017; Other PlayStation 4 Games Up For Grabs
Julianne2017 is really here and gamers are excited for this year's PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation VR exclusive game releases. PlayStation has released a trailer on its Youtube channel and it seems that the company has prepared a lineup of games for its gaming console. However, "God of War 4" and "The Last of Us 2" are nowhere to be seen.
According to MobiPicker, both PS4 exclusive games mentioned could be released later in 2017 or 2018, next year. Both game titles were announced in 2016 with "God of War 4 in the E3 event in June and "The Last of Us 2" at the GameAwards 2016.
Meanwhile, WWG reports that Sony will present amazing games for 2017 as PlayStation Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida stated that gamers can expect amazing software to be released in the near future or next year. This push from Sony will most likely begin with the company's presentation at the E3 2017 in June.
On the other hand, "Dark Souls" game developers From Software also has big plans for 2017 as producer Teruyuki Toriyama noted that its team is working hard for ambitious PS4 game titles. The producer didn't mention any specific names at the moment but gamers can expect great things coming.
With that said, "God Of War 4" and "The Last of Us 2" won't be making its debut this year. But with big things coming from the company, there are a lot of game titles gamers can get their hands on while waiting for Sony's official announcement.
While some of Sony's forthcoming game releases mentioned above are still up in the air when it comes to when they'll arrive, there are still PS4 exclusive games that have been confirmed for release this year such as "Gravity Rush 2" set for release this month. "Horizon: Zero Dawn", on the other hand, will be released in February.
