Famous Giant Monster Lao-Shan Lung Confirmed For 'Monster Hunter XX'
Switchy Sam"Monster Hunter XX" (pronounced as Double Cross) is one of the upcoming games this year and newer announcements are popping every now and then. It is indeed the start of New Year and one of the famous gigantic monsters named Lao-Shan Lung greets the event with a simple hint. It is confirmed that this huge monster will be included in "Monster Hunter XX" in the same arena. This will bring back memories from older "Monster Hunter" series and fans will surely love it.
The full translation of the New Year greeting
The translation of Lao-Shan Lung's greeting from the YouTube video of CapcomChannel goes this way: "Happy New Year to you all. It is I, Lao-Shan Lung. It has been a while. I look forward to seeing you again in Monster Hunter XX."
This translation is based from Siliconera. This is good news because it is an implication that Capcom, the creator of the game, did not leave the older monsters to be forgotten. Of course, the game is not complete without the famous and gigantic Elder Dragon, even one post from Videogamesrepublic agrees. Along with the greeting, the video ended with a Kut-ku holding something like a golden sphere.
It is expected that the new hunting techniques including the Renkin-style hunting will be there in the upcoming game to spice things to another level in "Monster Hunter XX." As previously stated on the post from IGN as well, G-rank quests are there including the Airship base, where hunters trade, buy items and accept quests on there.
"Monster Hunter XX" will be released on March 18 in Japan, and details regarding the Western release have not yet been announced. The hype of this hunting game is strong and it would be a disappointment if localisation takes longer than usual.
