'Dell XPS 27' Has 10 Speakers Inside All-in-One PC
Rommel"Dell XPS 27" is the latest offering from the personal computer experts from Dell. It is hard to find a distinct and unique desktop PC but Dell looked into the bigger picture and launched the all-in-one PC that a lot of tech experts would love especially those who has the knack for audio overkill. The new desktop comes with six speakers down the user - four of which are for mid and bass frequencies, along with tweeters in every corner of each speaker. Then, two more down-firing, full-range speakers with a couple of passive radiators are built-in with the desktop computer. Dell, with this audio orgasm, attempts to deliver a true all-in-one.
Dell XPS 27 twice louder than iMac? Dell promises to give quite an audio experience as it sees the Dell XPS 27 to be twice louder than iMac and ten times of the HP Envy 27. The modern audio system embedded in the new PC is collaborated with Jack Joseph Puig, a music producer, who designed everything as commitment to have "the best sound for an All-in-one PC." Certainly, not only its hardware is strong but its audio as well! A choice of 4K displays is available on top of the 10-speaker array, there is one with touch and a stand which pivots the PC down to an almost flat position and another without touch with respectable brightness of 350 nits. It weighs heavier though with 38.2 lb for the touch and 28.7 lb for the non-touch.
Dell XPS 27 Review: The Intel CPUs powerful processors make this PC desktop run and a choice of either Core i5-6400 (with 3.3GHz Intel Tubo Boost peaking at 4GHZ; up to around 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1 TB to 2 TB solid state storage and 32GB M.2 SSD) or Core i7-6700 (faster breed of SSD way beyond the limits of SATA) is available. Dell also gives you the choice of 512 GB or 1 TB M.2 SSD.
The Old, The New: Embracing the USB-C, Dell follows Apple on this new development. But the company also kept its old favorites. It comes with two USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 ports, five USB 3.0 ports and HDMI output. The PC is equipped with a headphone jack and an SD card reader with Ethernet connector and audio output. The new desktop PC uses AMD R9 M470X which is a huge upgrade from the built-in Intel graphics. It has powerful graphic chips enough to get you a wild VR experience. Windows Hello support is embedded in the XPS 27.
Dell XPS 27 Release Date, Sales, Schedule: The new desktop PC is now on sale with a starting price of $1499 with the fanciest specs nudging just above $2000. Check out the review of this new all-in-one PC here:
