Avid fans of Bandai Namco's hit role-playing video game, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" have been clamoring for the second downloadable content (DLC) pack for the game with some optimistic fans going as far as claiming that the game developer will shed more light on the highly anticipated content before or after the "Dragon Ball Super" English Dub Toonami premiere. Regrettably, that didn't come to fruition.

Although details about "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC pack 2 are very few and scattered, multiple sources have confirmed a slew of playable characters including SSGSS Vegito, Zamasu, Goku Black Super Saiyan Rose, Vados and Champa to be included in the upcoming expansion. In addition, the free DLC Pack is also likely to encompass bevies of fun content.

'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Expansion 2: When Is It Arriving

Bandai Namco is likely to roll out the second "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC sometime next month, according to a video footage posted by YouTube channel, VentusSGN.

A recently surfaced image from a Japanese magazine, via ShonenGamez, further cement this claim giving fans a peek at the models for Champa and Vados. If this proves to be true, this could be an apt Valentine's Day gift for loyal "Dragon Ball" fans.

Interestingly, the same video hints at a January 17 release date for the second DLC Pack. However, this information comes from some fans, so readers are recommended to take this bit of news with a huge grain of salt. The February release revealed by an official Japanese magazine seems more authentic.

If the game publisher sticks to its release pattern for downloadable content, the upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC too will have a lot of bounties up for grabs. The previously rolled out DLC gave fans access to new variations of SSGSS Goku and Hit. In addition, free DLC comprising five new mentors to train from was released.

Contrary to last year, no data mining has been made yet, meaning, there's hardly any sort of details about what the free content could have in store for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" players. Aside from more moves and clothes, fans would love to see Future Trunks transforming into his Super Saiyan Rage form from the Goku Black arc.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is currently up for grabs on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. You can get your hands on the DLC by getting the US$29.99 season pass.
