Nintendo Switch Tokyo Event: Leaks Vs. Truth Coming in Few Hours
Regin OlimberioNintendo Switch has developed a whim over taking avow of silence but it doesn't stop gamers from digging information as much as they can. A new photo surfaced over the internet that suggests March 17 release date plus line-up of potential titles that Nintendo Switch will carry.
There is a presentation scheduled today, Jan. 12 where Nintendo Switch is going to divulge some details about this much-anticipated console, GameSpot reported. The tech giant promised that it is going to unveil its pricing, specs and lineup so the said leak is moot after all. However, as hours are inching towards the event, it is good to dissect if the photo in question is a spoiler or fake.
For the blunt part, Nintendo Switch will allegedly release on March 17 and most of its carrier titles to include "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" are going to be out on the same day. There are other big titles routing for Nintendo Switch like "Super Mario Frost Land" but will release in undetermined date during the second quarter of the year.
Again, given the duration in which Nintendo Switch will reveal, this leak has questionable timing. At any rate, it can't be ruled out flat as fake due to some details that was being talked about before.
The single most interesting detail about the picture could be the lineup of rumored titles that will be with Nintendo Switch. Of course, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is surefire, so is a version of "Super Mario." However, there are others like "Minecraft: Switch Edition," "Dragon Quest XI," "NBA 2K17," "FIFA 17" and "Assassin's Creed Egypt" that are worth a second thought.
GameTransfers observed that most of these titles have alleged release dates for Nintendo Switch placed too close. This detail alone set the wick for questions if the leak is legit. Anyway, gamers should wait until 8 PM for Nintendo Switch Tokyo event before swatting the leak out.
