Windows 10 Creators Update: 'Windows Developer Day' To Educate Developers More Of Its Tools And Features
Pia MerciWindow 10 next major download, the Creators Update, is getting nearer and nearer to its most expected release in April. Today, Microsoft has announced its new "Windows Developers Day" livestream on February 8 for the said upcoming update wherein developers will be able to get a closer look at some of the upcoming developer features.
Since Microsoft will not be holding a developer conference before the Windows 10 Creators Update release, the company is instead going to hold an online event as aforementioned. This update follows up on Anniversary Update with a swarm of new solutions directed at creative types, like more closely integrated 3D and virtual reality capabilities, better gaming, and enhanced sharing.
Furthermore, Creators Update will also provide new tools so that developers and more technical users can create and implement better solutions for their customers and organizations. Though the upcoming update may not include a lot of major features for developers, there are still quite a lot of improvements that they can expect with the Creators Update.
Some of the topics to be covered include an updated information on Windows developer tools such as BASH, Universal Windows Platform (UWP) tooling, Developer mode and more. Also, it will tackle advancements in XAML with information on how UWP helps developers create more personal and dynamic apps and information on new Cortana skills and the recently announced Windows Holographic mixed reality headsets.
The Windows 10 Creators Update event will be live-streamed on February 8 and then the session will be available later on Microsoft's Channel 9. Developers and others can gain instant access to Microsoft staff via a live Q&A panel that will be hosted during the event as well.
There is no detailed agenda available yet, so, there isn't any clear starting time for the Windows 10 Creators Update event. However, people can RSVP for the event thru Microsoft's developer site to be able to watch the live stream.
