Claiming that he resembles "Gears of War" character Cole Train, wrestling company owner Lenwood Hamilton is suing the game for royalties. It is not clear yet whether Hamilton is suing Microsoft, developer Epic or even voice actor Tery Tate or Lester Speight in real life.
Hamilton saw "Gears of War" in early 2016 when friends of his son insinuates that he looks identical to Cole Train. The rest is history after Hamilton realized that he and Cole shares too many similarities indeed.
What could be an aggravating circumstance behind Hamilton's claim against "Gears of War" is his apparent connection with Speight. CogConnected reported that there are indications that Speight worked with Hamilton's wrestling company. Remember that Speight is the mind behind Cole Train, portrayal and everything in "Gears of War."
Twists and juicy details about this "Gears of War" tussle is the allegation that Speight and Hamilton have actually worked together creating a video game character. The story went further that Speight used Hamilton's account, took off with Cole Train and introduced it to "Gears of War."
Come to think of it, Hamilton is bluntly claiming that he is Cole Train in every aspect. This include Cole Train's storyline of being a former football player and wrestler, both of which were Hamilton's career. How about "Gears of War" portrayal of Cole with gold tooth? It is interesting that Hamilton has the same in real life.
At any rate, Hamilton's resemblance to "Gears of War" Cole Train is not a debate but court litigation. Gamers can expect an epic battle in courtroom as well, given that "Gears of War" series is the most bankable money-maker of Microsoft. Rule out "Gears of War 4" in the equation as well because it doesn't sport Cole Train.
