Adobe Photoshop To Get A Voice-Activated Digital Assistant Soon
Shena GolosinoIn the course of time, technology simultaneously evolves and brings to people even some unexpected and almost-impossible things. One perfect example of it is Adobe Photoshop's digital assistant that can be manipulated by human voice.
The software company unveiled this brilliant idea to the world through a video released earlier this January 2017. The video is quite brief and simple but it contains all the right things we need to know about the new software. Like Apple's Siri and Google's Google Assistant, a microphone icon will be present which will activate the Adobe Photoshop's digital assistant when pressed.
In the 30-second concept video posted by the company, a man can be seen looking at an image on an iPad. He then taps a microphone at the top of the screen that activates a digital assistant - which sounds similar to Alexa or Siri. Instead of editing the picture manually, the man tells the AI to edit the image. For instance, he says, 'I'd like to reframe this picture' and 'flip it sideways'.
"We combined the emerging science of voice interaction with a deep understanding of both creative workflows and the creative aspirations of our customers," Adobe shared in the video description.
"This is a first step towards a robust multimodal voice-based interface which allows our creative customers to search and edit images in an easy and engaging way using Adobe mobile applications."
According to The Verge , such digital assistant tools might even take the place of experienced graphic designers to perform editing tasks through shortcut keys. Adobe Photoshop has never failed to surprise its users with new innovation and technology. Dont forget to check with MobileNApps for more tech updates and news.
