Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Problem Update: Fire & Explosion Issues Caused Mainly By Battery
Nens MitchellAfter months of looking into the problem with the exploding Samsung Galaxy Note 7 units, the Korean company has finally revealed what was causing the predicament. It was recently revealed that the battery of the phone was the main cause of the problem.
Battery should be blamed
A person privy to the matter revealed in a report that the only problem with the exploding Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was its battery. This is a sneak peak into the results, which are expected to be unveiled in January 23.
The said source also explained that Samsung was able to "replicate" the fires and explosions and found that the incidents were not caused by software or hardware matters. This could point to the battery as the sole suspect in one of the biggest problems Samsung faced in its history.
Improvements for Note 8
Since Samsung is preparing to launch the Samsung Galaxy S8 (and fans are hoping it will still have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8), the company wants customers to forget what happened last year with the Note 7. Analyst Bryan Ma from Singapore said Samsung needs to make the assurance that the battery problem will not happen again.
Samsung mobile head Koh Dong-jin is thought to be the person to make the announcement. He is also expected to reveal the steps that Samsung is taking, and will take, to avoid having similar problems with their upcoming devices. Despite this leaked information, Samsung has not yet given an official comment on the issue.
International recall
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was supposed to be one of the biggest releases in 2016, until some of its units had overheating and exploding batteries. The company was forced to recall more than 2.5 million devices due to security reasons. It has also rendered as useless the remaining units that were not yet returned by the other users.
