Microsoft Surface Pro 5 With 4K Display, Unique Stylus To Arrive In First Quarter Of The Year; See Roundup Here
Caitlin MooreMicrosoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to ship following the release of the huge Windows 10 update dubbed as the Creators Update that is suggested to arrive in Spring 2017. That said, the highly anticipated device may come out at a later date, which is speculated to be in March. Here is a quick roundup of the speculations surrounding Surface Pro 4's successor.
The upcoming Surface Pro 5 is believed to sport a 4K display and a unique stylus that can be charged wirelessly. This is according to a report in a Chinese website as per PC Advisor. The Chinese website also reportedly revealed that Microsoft has given the manufacturing rights for the upcoming Surface device to Pegatron, the Taiwanese electronics manufacturing corporation behind the Surface Studio.
Interestingly, the report also claimed that the Surface Pro 5 will be launched in the first quarter of 2017. This backs up that claim that Microsoft is set to unveil the device in March. Readers, however, are advised not to get their hopes high as the Redmond-based multinational company has not given an official statement regarding the release of the new flagship tablet.
Meanwhile, Microsoft is currently offering its fans a neat treat as Surface Pro 4 can now be purchased with a $100 discount in the United States, TechTimes reported. The only catch is it is only available in the U.S. and for a limited time. It is also important to note that the only device with slashed price is the 128GB Surface Pro 4 that comes with Intel Core i5 processor.
From a price tag of $999, the tablet is now available for only $899 so users who are interested should locate their nearest stores now to get one. The price cut will be valid until Jan. 18, reportedly. So, hurry now and get your Surface Pro 4 but if you prefer to get the improved version, then you need to wait for a few more weeks until the Surface Pro 5 officially launches.
