There are a couple of weeks until the Nintendo Switch will finally arrive. There have been recent reports online that the hybrid gaming console will be another liability for the Japanese company. However, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime released a statement about the Switch that assures everyone the console will be a success.

In a report by Forbes, Fils-Aime talked about the gaming console's future. The Nintendo of America pointed out interesting statements about the Switch and the company's plans in the following years that come.

Fils-Aime stated that Nintendo Switch is a Home console that offers a handheld feature. Users can take the console wherever they are and play a game. The company has seen the reaction over at social media or Youtube and Nintendo is just overwhelmed about it.

Fils-Aime added that Nintendo Wii U will go down as having a fantastic content-the issue was as fans look at the reality of exactly when the games were launched. There were large gaps in between.

However, there is still several issues surrounding the Switch. Issues such as how powerful is it and can it support bulky games. There has already been third-party game developers that pledge to support the Switch, but after the Wii U incident, others are still unsure to purchase the console.

Meanwhile, GameSpot reports that the Nintendo Switch is predicted to sell 40 million units by the end of 2020. The prediction was released by the Research firm DFC Intelligence this week. The estimation is said to be three times larger than the Nintendo Wii U sold over it first four years.

The publication further reports that the Japanese company will have 2 million units available at its official launch on March 3 and 10 strong launch titles to impact a great debut. DFC stated that demand is expected to be strong at the launch date.
