"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is now very close to its release date and as the day gets near, more and more details are being revealed. And while not everything came from BioWare, the information are still worthy of attention because the notes being shared came from good sources.

For instance, typherio shared on Reddit what he gathered from reading PC Gamer's February issue. The guy summarized the article and listed at least four changes that can be expected from "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and this include the new planets, replacement of renegade/paragon system, the nomad and new game mode.

His post spawned many articles that detailed the given changes and new features in the upcoming game. Here is a round-up of what the game has to offer to players when it finally launched in March:

Weapons

In the previous and current "Mass Effect: Andromeda," players have just have few options when it comes to combat and weapons, and it is either the use of omniblade stab or elbow attack to fight. Game's lead designer Ian Frazier noted that there will be big changes in terms of melee weapons and how they are used in the gameplay.

Planets

According to PCGamesN, BioWare already confirmed that the new planets that players are going to explore are classified by 'types'. Apparently, there will be different kids of planets in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and one example is the ‘story planet.'

This type offers side quests and open exploration play for gamers. One thing to take note is that the planets will feature environmental hazards, such as the radiation and extreme coldness or heat, similar to that from "No Man's Sky."

Removal of Paragon/Renegade Interrupts

Gaming Bolt reported the game will get rid of the Paragon/Renegade system that was previously used for interactions. A new dialogue system will be in place once the old one is dropped.

Lastly, the multiplayer game will have a Horde mode where players can pick which class they want to play prior to the start of the match. Meanwhile, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is set to arrive on March 21 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
