The 4K video support includes H.265 decoding for its screen dispaly, as for its processor it runs on a Mali-T764 GPU as reported by PC World. The 4K board also supports 192 kHz/24-bit. The PC itself carries 2GB of RAM in terms of memory size, and for its connectivity it has a Bluetooth 4.0 with four USB 2.0 ports, gigabit Ethernet, microSD port, Wi-Fi and 1 HDMI port.
Beyond these basic tech specs, the Asus Tinker also carries a 1080p HDMI output at 2.25W, or 2W without an attached HDMI display. According to CPC.Farnell, the maximum power consumption of the board is 5W which really compares the capabilities of the Raspberry Pi 3 that uses only a maximum of 3.7W.
For its software, Asus has released their own Tinker Board OS, powered by Debian like the Raspberry Pi OS. It also claimed to be running on wider OS support, considering the likes of OpenSUSE, Ubuntu, and Kodi.
