'Final Fantasy XV' Moogle Chocobo Carnival Launches; Square Enix Introduces Special Event in Single Player FFXV
Regin Olimberio"Final Fantasy XV" proved that not only multi-player games can make special events as Square Enix rolled out Moogle Chocobo Carnival. This "Final Fantasy XV" limited time event launched on Monday but will last until Feb. 20.
First things first, players need to have the Holiday Pack add-on whether is is the free or paid version. By then, "Final Fantasy XV" will get more exciting as the pack allows a visit to Altissia, from where the carnival games and chocobo races can be done. There are themed treats and side quests that FFXV fans can look into.
Come to think of it, this latest "Final Fantasy XV" twist started a revolution for single-player games and RPGs. The question on how can developers like Square Enix can convince players to indulge has been a puzzle for so long among solo games, Engadget lamented. Moogle Chocobo Carnival may lack the depth that multi-player packs present but at least it gave "Final Fantasy XV" a reason to explore something unprecedented.
Apart from the leisure activities that "Final Fantasy XV" Moogle Chocobo Carnival can give, players can also indulge in actuations similar to a real life tourist. Noctis can don colorful costumes, take pictures, chumps on street food or go fishing. In other words, the protagonist can take a break away from grueling battles and brain-grating quests.
Speaking of pictures, GameSpot described this special event feature as selfie-ish. "Final Fantasy XV" photo-op is limited on non-combat scenario only during Moogle Chocobo Carnival. Otherwise, character Prompto is still needed to be the photographer for mid-fight instances.
"Final Fantasy XV" Moogle Chocobo Carnival event is available for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players. However, it pays to remember that players need the carnival passport that was included in the Holiday Pack DLC. It is not hard to come by the item anyway as it can be obtained by either paid or free DLC versions.
