Nokia 6 Latest News & Update: Second Flash Sale Registrations Reach 1.4 Million
CJ EstimadaThe popularity of the revival smartphone Nokia 6 is going strong at the moment, as the registration numbers for the smartphone, ahead of its second flash sale, have now touched the 1.4 million mark. Nokia's brand is widely accepted in China, where the company recently unveiled the Android smartphone.
Gone In 60 Seconds
The Nokia 6 has garnered 250,000 registrations in just 24 hours after they opened on JD.com, reaching the one million number in just a few days. The first flash sale saw the phone going out of stock within a minute, cites The Indian Express. The second flash sale for the Nokia 6 was scheduled for Thursday on JD.com.
To be clear, the number of registrations, unlike pre-orders, don't require monetary exchange which may not essentially give a fair suggestion of actual sales of a smartphone. Remarkably, these Nokia 6 registration numbers are just for the black variant and don't include the white model, which was seen earlier this month on a certification site.
Nokia 6 Key Features & Specs
The Nokia 6 Android smartphone sports a 5.5-inch display and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The device is powered by Snapdragon 430 chipset and comes packed with an octa-core 1.4GHz CPU, and the Adreno 505 GPU and an inbuilt storage of 64GB.
In terms of optics, Nokia 6 has an 8MP selfie shooter and a 16MP rear camera, which are backed by a 3,000mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button and supports Wi-Fi, USB-OTG, Bluetooth v4.1 and GPS. The phone also has dual amplifier speakers with Dolby Atmos technology. The Nokia 6 smartphone runs Android Nougat 7.0 OS, writes Gizbot.
At this point, readers should be aware that the smartphone will be made available exclusively for China market. Nokia 6 is priced at CNY 1,700 (approx. $377) on the website. One more Nokia 6 variant, with the codename TA-1003, was sighted in a Bluetooth certification earlier this month and this gave way to the prospect of the smartphone making its way out of China into the other markets, as per a report by NPU.
