Bandai Namco's action combat flight game titled "Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown" was first announced as a PS4 exclusive. However, it was announced in January 26 that the game will also come out for Xbox One and PC.

The company came out with a press release to announce the news. However, it did not contain the release date of the "Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown." That being said, fans are not yet certain whether the game will be released first on PS4 and then on other platforms on separate dates; or if it's going to be released on all three platforms on specific dates for each region.

Still, PS4 fans can rejoice. The press release did say that exclusive content for the console will come out. On the downside, the special "Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown" content will be developed specifically for Sony PlayStation VR.

Along with Bandai Namco's announcement of the news was a trailer according to PC Gamer. The "Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown" "New Years Showcase" trailer showed the flying machines that players will use to traverse through dangerous skies of Strangereal.

"Ace Combat 7" producer Kazutoki Kono said in an interview with GameSpot previously and said that they would be coming back to Strangereal. In the most recent titles of the franchise, the setting was more real-life.

"Real world is very easy to make credible, easy to believe. But there are so many constraints as a game. On the other hand if it's a hypothetical world, lots of additional setup is needed, but there is a lot of freedom within it," Kono said.

The PC release of "Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown" was seemingly a surprise to some. Since there is only one game in the series that is available on Steam, PC players are not sure how the game will come about. However, there are indeed positive buzz about the game, especially with the new trailer.
