'Pokemon Stars': Strong Evidence Of Game's Existence Unraveled In ‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’ Cutscene [VIDEO]
Pia MerciThe Pokemon Bank is now finally compatible with "Pokemon Sun and Moon" and other than strengthening the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" post-game, it can still offer more than just defeating rivals with old favorites who have been with people since their childhood.
A redditor named ronnknee on the Pokémon subreddit teaches fellow trainers on how to trigger a peculiar cutscene that apparently involves an elderly man standing alone in the Hainan Desert. Players can activate such scene by showing a Solrock or a Lunatone to the man wherein neither of which is native to Alola. Players must carry them into the tropical region using the Pokemon Bank, according to USGamer.
When players show either of the cosmic Pokemon to the elderly man, memories suddenly flash back into him. Then he abruptly remembers everything while saying the "star pulses" given to him three decades ago are still safe since he entrusted them with a group of "great men". He would then eventually give the Moonstone to the player and teleports off into space.
Though everything may apparently sound pretty bizarre, the Pokémon subreddit is pretty much confident that the elderly man, which became a spaceman is allegedly somehow related to the origins of Mr. Bonding. Note that Mr. Bonding is a man who bestows O-Powers to people or players in "Pokemon X and Y" and reportedly, he has older colleagues in "Pokemon Omega Ruby" and "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire".
Pokemon fans have, in fact, accessed the Haina Desert scene by hacking some time ago. But now, there is no need for hacking since anyone can see it legitimately with a little help from the Pokemon Bank.
More importantly, it is strongly believed that this particular scene is meant to give a clue regarding the existence of "Pokemon Stars". This rumored game is allegedly a "Pokemon Sun and Moon" follow-up for Nintendo Switch.
