Bandai Namco has just announced that it is targeting a 2017 "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" release date for PC and PS4. "Ni No Kuni II" is now currently being developed by Level-5 and will be co-published by Banda Namco Entertainment. According to Level 5 "Ni No Kuni 2" will be getting a worldwide simultaneous release for Ps4 and PC.

"Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" PC and Ps4 was announced to be released on Steam this year in the recent Bandai Namco event. The original "Ni No Kuni" was released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Level 5. "Ni No Kuni: Dominion of the Dark Djinn, a Japan only RPG, was launched in 2010 for the Nintendo DS. "Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch" Ps3 was then launched in November of 2011.

The Ps3 "Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch" is said to be only an improved version of the original Nintendo DS "Ni No Kuni". The "Ni No Kuni" Ps3 retained the original story of the DS version but introduced significant changes in the game's graphics and artwork.

The Level 5 "Ni No Kuni 2" was already announced way back 2015 in the PlayStation Experience with a 2017 "Ni No Kuni 2" release date. Another version of the game, "Ni No Kuni: Daibouken Monsters has been released for mobile devices in 2012.

According to Gamespot, the "Ni No Kuni II" gameplay demo that they saw features a battle system similar to that of "Final Fantasy XV". The "Ni No Kuni 2" storyline follows King Evan who is on a mission to reclaim his kingdom.

No announcements as to the exact "Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" release date have been made. However, Bandai Namco and Level 5 assures the avid fans of the video game that they will get a new version of the game as the 2017 release will not be a "Ni No Kuni" Ps4 remaster but will follow a different storyline.
