Google Pixel 2 Updates: Reports Detail Of Improved Camera & CPU; Of Course, It Has To Be Better
Arianne GiftGoogle's very own Pixel and Pixel XL were only released in what seems like a fortnight ago, but the Pixel 2 is already making its rounds on the internet. This isn't surprising, given the success of the search giant's flagship phone, but if a company should release its next model, it has to be, rather, should be better, shouldn't it?
Google's Pixel 2 is said to be an immense improvement than the highly regarded original. A report from 9to5Google says that it comes with upgrades like an improved camera, a water-resistance feature, and a faster processor.
To reiterate this already good news, the Google Pixel 2 could have a cheaper version for fans on a budget, according to the report. The publication refers to it as the Pixel 2B, which is how the source called it.
In the wake of two major battery fires, CNET has put the Google Pixel on top of the pedestal as their best Android phone. Apart from the publication, the Pixel has had amazing reviews last year, giving Google even more credit than it already has.
Understandably, the Pixel even became bigger when Google ditched the Nexus brand, which paved way to the company's first premium phone with Google's name on the label itself. But of course, like most nice things, it comes with a caveat. The Pixel requires quite a hefty sum that's way out of reach to average consumers. If the Pixel 2 is being referred to as a way better version, it should be expected, obviously, to be pricier.
This is where the cheaper Pixel, dubbed Pixel 2B, could come in as an alternative. After all, it's hard to imagine a smartphone that sells even higher than the Pixel and Pixel XL.
Google has not responded to CNET for confirmation, which really is not surprising. What awaits of the Google Pixel 2 is yet to be seen, but already, it prompts excitement.
