Leslie Benzies, a former game executive for Rockstar Game's "GTA 5" was revealed to have set up his own studio and preparing to launch a new game called "Everywhere." The studio does not have a name yet but it already have offices located in Edinburgh, Scotland, and Los Angeles, California.

Then again, Bezies' legal dispute with Rockstar games is still not over. It is on-going as he still seek for his supposed $150 million in unpaid royalties. It can be recalled that the ex-Grand Theft Auto 5 boss left Rockstar North last year due to feud with his colleagues. Later, he filed a lawsuit for his claims that the company owed him million dollars in game royalties.

In April 2016, GameSpot reported that Leslie Benzies sued "GTA 5" publisher Take-Two Interactive. Aside from the complaints of not being paid the royalties, he claimed that he was unjustly kicked out from the studio. However, Rockstar denied this and stated that their colleague was fired due to issues with his behavior.

The legal battle is not ending any time soon but Benzies wants to work on another game so he teamed up with two other former Rockstar Games staff. He signed up audio director Matthew Smith and ex-lead programmer Colin Entwistle for the new project. Together, they are developing the "Everywhere" on Amazon Lumberyard, the free game engine.

Moreover, on his interview with Polygon, Benzies revealed more about the new game that he and his team are currently working. "We're building a video game. Our working title is "Everywhere," he said.

He went on to say, "While it'll have many established gaming elements, we're also including features that games haven't touched on yet. We want this game to be less restrictive than other games."

The former main producer of "GTA 5" added that "Everywhere" is an ambitious game and very different from Grand Theft Auto. However, Benzies admitted that there may be parts in his new game that may include parodies but the atmosphere will totally be original.

Meanwhile, "Everywhere" does not have a release date yet since its development only started in the second half of 2016. What the former execs from GTA 5 can confirmed as of now it that it is progressing well and more details are coming up in the future.
