Google Pixel 2 to Feature Improved Camera, SoC; Alleged Budget Pixel Also in the Works [VIDEO]

According to a new report, Google has once again puts its focus on the alleged Pixel 2 device's camera and people may possibly see an affordable Pixel handset from the company this year.
According to 9to5google, Google is considering to include the water resistance feature to Google Pixel 2 smartphones, although the said feature is "still on the table". This means that Google is still thinking about it and has not made up their mind about it yet. In 2016, Google confessed that both the Pixel and Pixel XL were not at all water resistant. The company says that it was due to lack of time.
Moreover, the report says that Google Pixel is being tested with improved processors, which are apparently coming from two manufacturers. It is said that it will be flaunting a higher price tag over the first Google Pixel launched. Specifically, the Pixel 2 is allegedly to be tested with some Snapdragon 83X chips while others are tested with Intel chips.
Furthermore, Google is testing the new Pixel phones for low-light photography, as per the report's claims. In the previous year, Google claimed that the Pixel handsets sport the best smartphone camera and seemingly, the company is apparently working to improve the feature much further.
More importantly, the new leaks point to an early version of the alleged Pixel. It is Google will somehow put the new Pixel 2 phone subject for alterations and other tweaks, especially when these devices are actually launched later this year.
What's more, the report claims that Google is currently testing a custom chipset for a test device. Additionally, the report says that multiple test devices with a variety of chipsets are being used now.
It is worth noting that Google Pixel 2 phones, which are the first self-branded smartphones by the company have shown consistent performance in regards to the overall market. According to an analytics firm during Black Friday Sales, the Google Pixel was more famous than the iPhone 7 when it came live over the weekend.
