Huawei P10 Release Updates, Specs and Features: Phone Could Feature Dual-Camera Setup and Curved Display
Nens MitchellWith the popularity of dual-camera setup in smartphones, many fans believe that Huawei could also introduce it in their next release. This will be a big boost to the brand especially since it hopes to compete with other giants in the industry.
Two variants
According to Expert Reviews, renders which surfaced online revealed that there could be two Huawei P10 versions. One would have a gold color while the other will be all-black.
Dual cameras utilizing powerful Leica lenses is believed to be attached to the rear with a secondary camera on the front. This camera feature has been introduced by brands like Apple and has received positive reviews from fans and smartphone users. A fingerprint scanner at the back is also possible, plus a curved touchscreen design which will make the Huawei P10 look like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
Chipset and other features
As per Softpedia, Huawei could reveal the P10 during the Mobile World Congress 2017 this coming March 26. It is expected to be a powerful device sporting a Huawei Kirin 960 chipset. Many hoped that it was a Snapdragon 835 chip, but this will just be released on April, which is already past the release target for the Huawei P10.
In terms of performance, it is believed that the Huawei P10 will be similar to that of the Huawei P9 since they have the same Kirin chipset. The upcoming release could also have 6GB of RAM for fast-responding applications and smooth navigation on the device.
Price details
When it comes out after a few months, the Huawei P10 could cost around $500 or higher which is almost the same with the initial tag of the Huawei P9 when it was released.
