Apple Rolls Out WatchOS 3.2 Beta For Apple Watch
JulianneApple has recently released its first Beta version of watchOS 3.2 update to developers for test purposes. The Beta is for the Apple Watch and comes more than three months after the release of watchOS 3.1. The update comes with the Theatre Mode feature and more.
MacRumors reports that watchOS 3.2 beta can be downloaded through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to General, then Software Upgrade. To install the update, the Watch must have 50% battery remaining and must be at range with the smartphone.
Meanwhile, the update also comes with features like the Theater Mode. The said feature is designed to let user's mute sounds on the Apple Watch and disables Raise to Wake.
Other than that, the update will also bring Siri to the Apple Watch. This feature will extend Siri's functionality on the smartwatch by enabling developers to intregrate third-party apps. SiriKit has been made available on the Apple Watch with the help of watchOS 3.2.
The Theater Mode was introduced in the watchOS 3.1.3 but it is being made available to the watchOS 3.2. Users will continue to receive haptic feedback-based notifications. Information can be viewed by tapping the screen or pressing down the Digital Crown.
Trusted Reviews reports that the new Beta for the Apple Watch comes a week after Apple launched iOS 10.3 for developers and the public. The iOS 10.3 will feature Find My Airpods within the Find My iPhone App.
In other news, the upcoming iOS 10.3 update for iPhones and iPads will have multiple features coming with it. Previous reports states that the Theater Mode was rumored to be one of the features the iOS 10.3. However, the mentioned feature will go to the Apple Watch instead.
Other features for the iOS 10.3, other than the Find My Airpods are Apple ID Profile, the floating iPad feature, and more. The upcoming patch will slightly change the app's look in the screen, making it look more rounded.
