"Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas" will be released on Nintendo Switch to rival "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," as confirmed by a Tweet from developer FDG Entertainment. FDG Entertainment responded positively when asked by "Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas" fans about their plans to take the game to the new console.

What is unclear for now is which between the original mobile hit "Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas," or its sequel, "Knights of Lost Realm," will arrive on the Nintendo Switch, Twinfinite said. The latter has only been confirmed for release on PC and iOS devices so far.

"Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas" follows the quest of a boy who is searching for his missing father. This FDG game is replete with challenges as the hero embarks on a treacherous journey across islands while discovering clues about his father's whereabouts.

According to Den of Geek, "Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas" is going to be a worthy partner to "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." What the duo shares are similarities in gameplay and style.

"Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas" was originally launched for mobile in 2013, but was also launched to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 last year. Since then, FDG has received requests to have the game on the Nintendo Switch.

There are hints as well that FDG is already making and doing tests for "Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas" on the Nintendo Switch. The same Twitter post said that the game will run beautifully on a more powerful Nintendo console. The developers also claimed that "Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas" will release later this year, suggesting that fans can look ahead for a Nintendo Switch launch in March.
