New 'Kingdom Hearts III' Screenshot Marks 'Final Fantasy VII' 20th Anniversary
Switchy Sam"Kingdom Hearts III" is the upcoming game from Square Enix that connects the "Kingdom Hearts" series. Recently, Square Enix revealed a screenshot for the upcoming game. It mysteriously looks like the pose/image from "Final Fantasy VII" cover on the PlayStation One console. Notably, the screenshot was a tribute to the 20th Anniversary of the "Final Fantasy VII" game, which was released way back on the PS One console.
Ever since the remake announcement was made, fans have been eagerly waiitng for the game's release. In addition, this might be a sign that "Final Fantasy VII Remake" is on its way together with "Kingdom Hearts III." This screenshot also commemorates the key artwork that was revealed during the Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Opening Ceremony.
Gematsu reported that the key artwork was revealed in Roponggi Hills to remind players about the development of "Final Fantasy VII Remake." An image was posted on the "Kingdom Hearts III" official Twitter page which mentioned about the 20th Anniversary. The Twitter post can be viewed below:

According to AnimeNewsNetwork, Tetsuya Nomura will be directing "Final Fantasy VII Remake." Nomura will pair up with Kazushige Nojima, who will be writing the scenario. The game is still in development with "Kingdom Hearts III" and Tetsuya Nomura is working hard to deliver excellent quality games in line with fans' expectations. The games will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. An exact release date is yet to be announced.
