'Minecraft' Villain Skin Pack Now Available For Console Edition [VIDEO]; 'Minecraft' Update 1.41 To Focus Mainly On Bug Fixes?
Vinay PatelIt looks like "Minecraft" players on console finally have something major to cheer about in the form of a recently rolled out update that lets them spruce up for their villainous plans.
While the console edition received a big update earlier this week, Microsoft announced that new Villains Skin Pack for the sandbox video game will finally be up for grabs for Xbox One and other consoles. Windows 10 and Pocket Edition players got access to this pack nearly half a year ago.
What makes this new skin texture downloadable content (DLC) alluring is the fact that each of these skins draws inspiration from the most villainous things in "Minecraft" such as trapdoors, silverfish, cakes and lots more. Mojang's Owen Jones noted in a blog post on the game's official website.
The Villains Skin Pack boasts 17 skins for "Minecraft" players to delve into. These include Slymime, Cake Maniac, Dungeon Spectre, Terror Spawner, Eyece, Endergaunt, Patchkin, Silverfish Monger, Lava Fiend, Stronghold Seer to name a few. Players can get their hands on this new pack by shelling out $1.99.
Aside from adding Villains Skin Pack, "Minecraft" update 1.41 has a lot more to offer. Take a look at what else is included in the new update.
Much to the dismay of "Minecraft" PS4 players who have been hoping for a big content drop for the game, the recently rolled out "Minecraft" update 1.41 does not give the players too much to shout about.
The "Minecraft" update 1.41 primarily centers on fixing a slew of bugs on PS4 edition of the game, mainly linked with drops. Nevertheless, the update also came with new skins and trophies.
As far as bug fixes are concerned, "Minecraft" update 1.41 mainly addresses concerns regarding a lack of specific drops from enemies and bugs. In the same manner with previous bugs that comprised dead bushes not dropping sticks, burning chickens not dropping cooked meat as soon as they die, Zombie Pigmen not dropping golden ingots and Blazes not dropping Glowstone Dust.
Aside from fixing the drops, bevies of other glitches have also being added into "Minecraft" update 1.41, including fixing wrong lighting where a player is present, the ability of Wither Skeletons to walk straight through two-block high spaces, fixing some incorrect tooltips and even places where End Gateways could be damaged, according to Segment Next.
Furthermore, the new update adds an array of trophies for "Minecraft" Survival Mode, giving players an opportunity to acquire trophies simply by accomplishing more things in the Minecraft world.
But that's not all. Trophies will also be available for "Minecraft" Tumble mode, which require players to dig blogs out from other players' feet and send them nose-diving into a chasm of lava below.
