Nintendo has released its plans for 2017. The Japanese gaming company plans to release three mobile games per year, continuing the company's success in the mobile industry.

With the success of "Super Mario Run" and "Pokemon Go", the Japanese company plans to launch two to three games in a yearly basis for iOS phones. However, Nintendo in the meantime didn't specify what mobile games the company will release.

BGR reports that Nintendo might release "Animal Crossing" onto the iOS phones this year or maybe a new Pokemon game is coming. According to the publication, "Fire Emblem Heroes" will be available next week for both iOS and Android, concluding there will be three mobile games Nintendo will launch this year. "Fire Emblem Heroes" is a free-to-play game, unlike "Super Mario Run" that requires one-time payment to enjoy the full content.

Nintendo, at the moment, is putting all its efforts on Nintendo Swtich. This is to ensure that the console will be a success when it hits the market in March. Recently, Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima announced that more than 100 game title will be coming to the Switch.

Meanwhile, the Nintendo president clears the rumored Switch-3DS competition. Kimishima stated that the company will continue to develop games for both consoles. Even with both game systems allows users to play outside of home, the 3DS offers a unique characteristics from the Switch.

Kimishima continued to explain that price points and game experience offered for both consoles will be different and Nintendo does not see it as competitors. The company wants to continue both business separately and in parallel.
