Switchy SamCapcom has announced that "Monster Hunter XX" demo will be released via the Nintendo eShop in Japan on February 15. The demo will reportedly feature both "Brave Style" and "Renkin Style" hunting styles.
Hachima Kikou, a Japanese blogger, posted on his blog the live stream of Capcom TV that featured the game with "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard." In addition, the demo of the game will also feature Felyne (Meownter) "Beast" transformation. Details regarding the game localization in North America and Europe have not yet been announced.
Three modes for both advanced and newbie players
"Monster Hunter XX" and its ancestors never fails to introduce new players to its world. The game's demo has three modes. These are the beginner, intermediate, and advanced hunt. First, players will battle a Yian Kut-Ku in the beginner hunt quest. Second, players will battle against a Barroth in the intermediate hunt quest. Lastly, advanced players will have to take the advanced hunt quest and battle against a Barioth. These three scaling modes and quests will be available in the game, reported Gematsu. Furthermore, one last feature that will be presented in the demo will be the "Beast" transformation of Meownter (Felynes). These transformation will demonically increase the cat's attack, which will greatly help players in the hunt. The live stream detailed the transformation and it looks amazing. Moreover, the full "Monster Hunter XX" will be officially released in Japan on March 18 on the Nintendo 3DS console. As expected of the "Monster Hunter" series, DLCs will surely follow after its release.
